Drones may have struck military airfield in Taganrog – media

Local channels had been warning of drones over the region since the night of September 12, and videos later emerged showing thick smoke over Taganrog, reportedly filmed by local residents. Astra's OSINT analyst determined that the smoke was coming from the direction of Taganrog's military airfield. Taganrog-Central is a military airfield in the Rostov region, located within the city of Taganrog. The airfield is home to the 708th Military Transport Aviation Regiment. The 325th Aircraft Repair Plant, which repairs transport aircraft and components, also operates nearby.
