Sharing lessons from a decade of implementation: The Global Wildlife Program at the first Global Forum for the GEF Integrated Programs - World Bank Group

Co-hosted by the GEF and the UN Environment Programme , the Global Forum was the first global gathering dedicated to the GEF’s Integrated Programs, which aim to address environmental challenges across sectors and geographies. Nearly 300 people from GEF agencies, country representatives, and partners joined the forum to reflect on how Integrated Programs are progressing from design to implementation and impact. For the GWP , the Forum was a chance to share lessons drawn from a decade of this work. Launched in 2015, the GWP connects 38 countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean, and having run across three successive GEF cycles is among the longest-standing programs in the GEF portfolio.
