Public perception of mobilization issues does not reflect actual situation — military psychologist

This view was expressed by social and military psychologist Oleh Pokalchuk in an interview with Ukrinform . According to him, the enemy has “200%” exploited the mobilization problems and, in essence, used them to form an anti-state movement based on instincts. Pokalchuk noted that at this point, it is more important not to communicate about mobilization but to find other mechanisms, since human behavior is always governed by two factors—the expectation of reward and the fear of punishment. “When this mobilization system was created, neither of these factors was present—and, consequently, the system fell apart,” said the social psychologist.
