Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said this at a joint briefing with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in Kyiv on Sunday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent. "I want to confirm once again that negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the European Union will not be easy, just as ours were when we joined. But Poland will not block the opening of the negotiating clusters. This does not mean that we will close them quickly. But according to the European Commission, Ukraine is already ready for negotiations," he said. Sikorski also expressed hope that Ukraine would complete the process of implementing the Association Agreement, in particular the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA).
