(RTTNews) - The Malaysia stock market has finished lower in four sessions, slipping almost 30 points or 2 percent in that span. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index now sits just above the 1,685-point plateau although it may find traction on Monday. The global forecast for the Asian markets is positive on easing oil prices and likely bargain hunting. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion. The KLCI finished sharply lower on Friday following losses among the financial shares, plantation stocks, utilities and health services. For the day, the index dropped 18.78 points or 1.10 percent to finish at 1,686.74 after trading between 1,682.56 and 1,705.69.
