(RTTNews) - The Taiwan stock market has finished lower in two consecutive trading days, shedding almost 1,000 points or 2.2 percent along the way. The Taiwan Stock Exchange now sits just above the 46,180-point plateau although it's due for support on Monday. The global forecast for the Asian markets is positive on easing oil prices and likely bargain hunting. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion. The TSE finished sharply lower on Friday following losses among the technology, plastics and resource sectors, although the financials offered minor support. For the day, the index stumbled 755.64 points or 1.61 percent to finish at 46,184.85 after trading between 45,942.44 and 46,651.21.
