Kostiantyn was a graduate of the Chernihiv Levko Revutskyi Music College and the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. The department noted that Kostiantyn was known as a participant in numerous concert programs. The Chernihiv Regional Philharmonic Center for Festivals and Concert Programs expressed condolences to the family and friends of "the talented musician, sopilka player and courageous defender of Ukraine Kostiantyn Slobodeniuk.
