(RTTNews) - The Thai stock market has moved lower in three straight sessions, sinking more than 15 points or 0.9 percent along the way. The Stock Exchange of Thailand now sits just above the 1,600-point plateau although it may halt its slide on Monday. The global forecast for the Asian markets is positive on easing oil prices and likely bargain hunting. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion. The SET finished modestly lower on Friday following losses among the food, consumer, finance, industrial, property, resource, service and technology sectors. For the day, the index was down 10.55 points or 0.65 percent to finish at 1,604.52 after trading between 1,600.19 and 1,610.43. Volume was 9.
