This is a trend that has been observed for the fourth consecutive month,” Pletenchuk noted. He noted that the Russians use cruise missiles relatively rarely. According to him, there have been two such launches this month, and over the summer, the maximum number of launches was three. Pletenchuk noted that Russia potentially has up to four vessels capable of launching cruise missiles from the Black Sea: two “Buyan-M” class surface ships and two “Varshavyanka” class submarines.
