Ukraine hits key S-400 radar station in Sochi

As reported by Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a Facebook post. On September 13 and overnight into September 14, Ukrainian Defense Forces units struck a number of important Russian military targets. In Sochi, a 92N6 multifunctional radar station belonging to the S-400 Triumf SAM system was hit. The 92N6 is a multifunctional radar station that tracks aerial targets and guides surface-to-air missiles toward them. As part of the S-400 system, the radar is one of the key elements responsible for carrying out the system’s air-defense missions. In the areas of Kursk and temporarily occupied Donetsk, storage, preparation, and launch sites for Russian strike UAVs were hit.
