(RTTNews) - U.S. food company Hain Celestial Group, Inc. (HAIN) announced on Monday that it has agreed to sell its international business to private equity firm AURELIUS for about $323 million in cash, as part of its ongoing strategic review. Net proceeds are expected to range between $305 million and $310 million, which the company plans to use to reduce debt. The deal, unanimously approved by Hain's board, is subject to regulatory approvals and an amendment to the company's credit agreement.
