FM Sybiha on recruitment of Russian agents in Germany: I urge European governments to take this threat seriously

He expressed admiration for the courage of RTL’s German investigative journalist Angelique Geray, who, while undercover, exposed a network of covert recruitment of Russian agents in Germany. “The results are shocking. Undercover agents recruited via Telegram for cash, surveillance and sabotage taskings, and threats made against the journalist. This is the scale of what we’re up against,” Sybiha noted. The minister emphasized that the RTL investigation is not an isolated incident but part of a broader system of Russian sabotage operations across Europe.
