Meta Puts Arke and Astrid Into Data Centers in 2027

The MTIA 450, called Arke, is the third generation of the line and goes into data centers in the first half of the year. The MTIA 500, or Astrid, finishes design work in about a month and arrives at the end of 2027, with wider use expected. Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ:AVGO) works on the designs and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (NYSE:TSM) on manufacturing, in a project aimed at reducing Meta's reliance on Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA) processors.
