Tuesday 9/15 Insider Buying Report: CROX, SLRC

As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys. At Crocs, a filing with the SEC revealed that on Thursday, Director Thomas J. Smach bought 4,000 shares of CROX, at a cost of $109.38 each, for a total investment of $437,530. So far Smach is in the green, up about 4.7% on their purchase based on today's trading high of $114.53. Crocs is trading up about 0.9% on the day Tuesday. This purchase marks the first one filed by Smach in the past twelve months. And at SLR Investment, there was insider buying on Thursday, by See Remarks Michael S. Gross who purchased 20,000 shares at a cost of $12.
