According to Ukrinform, the relevant Decree No. 931/2026 , dated September 15, was published on the President's official website. "Appoint Oleksii Oleksandrovych Kovalenko as Commander of the Communications and Cybersecurity Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the decree states. Brigadier General Oleksii Kovalenko had served as acting commander of the Communications and Cybersecurity Forces since 2023. As Ukrinform reported, Zelensky appointed Ihor Klymenko, Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, as head of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center.
