Zelensky urges Parliament to back seven bills needed to fund budget deficit

The Head of State said this in his evening address posted on Telegram , Ukrinform reports. “I am grateful to all the lawmakers who voted in favor of decisions in the Verkhovna Rada today. Also, a number of bills are scheduled for consideration this week that, frankly speaking, mean funding from our partners for Ukraine. There are seven bills on the agenda, most of them for first reading, but each of them is needed to finance the state budget deficit,” Zelensky said. The President stressed that these decisions are of national importance and concern all Ukrainians, rather than individual political forces or persons.
