As reported by ERR , Prime Minister Kristen Michal said this on the sidelines of the European Arctic Summit in Rovaniemi, Finland, according to Ukrinform. Estonia is already under NATO’s nuclear umbrella, Michal said, adding, “France is also supporting our independence by deploying troops in Estonia. So if there is an opportunity to deepen cooperation in the nuclear sphere, that is probably what will happen”. Michal stressed that this is not an initiative that countries can simply join, as it requires certain capabilities and readiness.
