Polish military builds observation posts on border with Ukraine

The General Command of the Polish Armed Forces reported this on X , according to Ukrinform. According to the Polish command, the tasks are being carried out by service members of the 4th and 18th Sapper Regiments of the Polish Armed Forces. In addition to constructing border fortifications using HESCO Bastion systems, the military is providing engineering support to the Nadbużański Border Guard unit of Poland. In particular, they are constructing observation and security posts near the border with Ukraine. The work is being carried out, among other places, in the areas of the Dorohusk, Medyka, and Korczowa border crossings. The HESCO Bastion system consists of structures made of metal mesh and geotextile material that are filled with soil or sand.
