The report notes that ten of the organization’s warehouses have been destroyed in strikes this year, along with aid shipments worth millions of dollars. According to UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Ukraine Matthias Schmale, one of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) main warehouses containing medical supplies was struck earlier this month, while other attacks destroyed hygiene kits and school supplies for children. “These deliberate attacks on warehouse facilities (...) are a new trend of the past few months,” he said after briefing states on Ukraine’s humanitarian needs in the fifth year of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
