China Stock Market Poised To Open Under Pressure

(RTTNews) - The China stock market has moved lower in four straight sessions, slumping more than 85 points or 2.3 percent in that span. The Shanghai Composite Index now sits just above the 3,860-point plateau and it's tipped to open in the red again on Wednesday. The global forecast for the Asian markets is negative on rising crude oil prices and treasury yields, and ahead of the U.S. rate decision later today. The European and U.S. markets were down and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion. The SCI finished modestly lower on Tuesday as losses from the agriculture, automobile, petrochemical and pharmaceuticals were mitigated by support from the financials and technology stocks.
