Lower Open Expected For Indonesia Bourse

(RTTNews) - The Indonesia stock market has finished lower in five straight sessions, sinking more than 225 points or 3.4 percent along the way. The Jakarta Composite Index now sits just above the 6,460-point plateau and it's looking at another soft start again on Wednesday. The global forecast for the Asian markets is negative on rising crude oil prices and treasury yields, and ahead of the U.S. rate decision later today. The European and U.S. markets were down and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion. The JCI finished sharply lower on Tuesday following losses among the financial shares, agriculture stocks and resource companies. For the day, the index retreated 73.54 points or 1.13 percent to finish at 6,461.
