According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this in a Facebook update on the situation as of 08:00 on September 16. The enemy carried out 106 airstrikes, dropping 356 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 7,106 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,366 shelling attacks. In Sumy region, Pisariivka, Ulanove, Ryzhivka, Oleksiivka, Yunakivka, Volfyne, and Mariiine came under artillery fire. The areas of Ivolzhanske and Tovstodubove were hit by airstrikes. Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck one area where Russian personnel were concentrated. In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian forces repelled three enemy assaults near Bachivsk, Korenok, and Hirkу.
