Ukrinform reports that Ukrzaliznytsia announced the incident on Telegram. “Today, train No. 122 ‘Kyiv–Mykolaiv’ came under attack. Thanks to an advance warning from Ukrzaliznytsia’s monitoring team, the locomotive and train crews, as well as the passengers, were evacuated,” the statement said. Bus transfers are being arranged for passengers in coordination with the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration. As previously reported by Ukrinform, a locomotive caught fire in the Volyn region overnight on September 15 as a result of a Russian strike.
