Over UAH 131 billion in 2027 budget revenues depend on parliament’s action – Pidlasa

Ukrinform reports this, citing Roksolana Pidlasa, chair of the parliamentary Budget Committee, in a Facebook post. “More than UAH 131 billion of the projected revenues will materialize only if Parliament adopts amendments to the Tax Code, for example, by increasing VAT by 1 percentage point and fuel excise duties by 4 percentage points. (I personally consider such changes unlikely),” the lawmaker wrote. Receiving another UAH 52.5 billion in budget revenues is contingent on extending the 50% tax on banks’ profits and the President signing into law legislation on the taxation of digital platforms, she added.
