2027 draft budget: expenditures to rise 13.5%, international assistance needs estimated at $52.6 billion

“Revenues in the draft State Budget for 2027 are projected at UAH 5 trillion 648 billion, which is UAH 452.1 billion, or 8.7%, more than the revised 2026 plan. In 2027, total expenditures under the draft State Budget will amount to UAH 7 trillion 272 billion, which is UAH 864.9 billion, or 13.5%, more than the revised 2026 plan,” the statement says. At the same time, the need for international support in 2027 will amount to $52.6 billion. The government plans to raise funds from the European Union, G7 countries under the ERA financing mechanism, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the United Kingdom, and other international partners.
