Due to the need to ensure airspace security, operations at the airports in Lublin and Rzeszów were temporarily restricted. This was reported by the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command and the Polish Government Security Center, according to Ukrinform. The Polish Armed Forces Operational Command reported on social media platform X that, in connection with Russian strikes on Ukraine, the Polish Air Force had begun operations in the country’s airspace. At the same time, ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems were placed on alert. The command emphasized that these measures were preventive in nature and aimed at protecting Polish airspace.
