Russian attack on Yahodyn: SBGS says Belarus is once again activating relay stations

Andrii Demchenko, a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS), said this in a comment to Ukrinform. “As of now, Belarus is actively assisting Russia in shelling Ukrainian territory. This includes relay stations activated on Belarusian territory that amplify the signal for Russian ‘Shahed’ and ‘Gerber’ drones, which, in fact, after entering from Russian territory, then remain near the border with Belarus in order to receive this signal and be able to penetrate deeper into Ukrainian territory, particularly into the western regions: Rivne, Volyn, and Lviv. And the attack, for example, in the direction of the “Yahodyn” border crossing was also carried out with Belarus’s support,” Demchenko noted.
