Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda said this on Wednesday, according to Ukrinform, citing LRT . "Based on the information currently available, it was a Gerbera-type drone," he told journalists after a meeting of Lithuania's National Defence Council. Nausėda said the incident was most likely not a deliberate attack against Lithuania. "Most likely, it was a Russian drone intended for Ukraine that was diverted from its course by Ukrainian electronic warfare measures and entered our territory, where it was shot down," the president said. He also warned that similar incidents could happen again, noting that Lithuania needs to improve its capabilities to detect drones and other airborne objects approaching from abroad.
