Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service, said this during a briefing at Ukrinform. “Enemy sabotage activity may increase somewhat in the near future because there is certain information that the enemy is currently increasing the presence of some units that could conduct sabotage operations in the Chernihiv and Sumy directions,” Demchenko said. At the same time, according to him, there is currently no evidence of an increase in enemy infantry groups or units capable of launching more active assaults on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Sumy and Chernihiv directions. The spokesperson nevertheless noted that Ukraine must be prepared for any possible developments on the enemy’s side.
