Ukrainian air defenses down seven Banderol missiles, 124 drones in overnight Russian attack

Starting at 18:00 on Wednesday, September 16, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with Oniks anti-ship missiles launched from Kursk Region, Iskander-M/S-400/KN-23 ballistic missiles launched from Bryansk and Voronezh regions, four sea-launched Kalibr cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea, 10 Banderol/Dan-T missiles from the airspace over the Sea of Azov, and 157 Shahed-type attack UAVs (more than half of them jet-powered) as well as Parodiya decoy drones launched from the directions of Oryol and Millerovo in Russia, temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea. The main targets of the attack were the Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa regions.
