Russia launches massive overnight attack on Kyiv and southern Ukraine

Russia launched a barrage of missiles and drones Wednesday night, damaging homes and commercial infrastructure in Kyiv, Odesa and Zaporizhzhia. The Kyiv City Military Administration said in a statement on Telegram that the attack hit civilian infrastructure at more than 10 locations , including warehouses, an office building, residential buildings and vehicles. At least 18 people were injured in Kyiv, among them a 10-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, local authorities said. “The enemy does not stop attacking the capital,” Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Telegram. Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched 157 drones and a mix of ballistic and cruise missiles.
