Russia attacks Tanzania-flagged vessel bound for Ukrainian port, captain killed, three injured

The Ministry for Restoration, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine reported this on Telegram , according to Ukrinform. "Russia continues to attack civilian shipping in the Black Sea. On September 17, while en route to one of Ukraine's ports, a Tanzania-flagged vessel was attacked by a Russian UAV," the ministry said. According to the ministry, the strike killed the vessel's captain and injured three other crew members. Information on the vessel's condition is being clarified. The ministry called on the international community to respond appropriately to Russia's systematic attacks on Ukrainian ports, port infrastructure and civilian merchant vessels.
