EU Industrial Production Falls 0.3% in July 2026; Eurozone Stalls at -0.1% - News and Statistics - IndexBox

Seasonally adjusted industrial production across the European Union declined by 0.3% in July 2026 compared with the prior month, while output in the eurozone edged down 0.1%, according to preliminary figures released by Eurostat . The data, published on 17 September 2026, also showed wide divergence among member states. Luxembourg posted the strongest monthly gain at 4.5%, followed by Croatia at 3.9% and Ireland at 2.6%. The steepest monthly contractions occurred in Denmark, down 4.2%, Bulgaria, down 2.9%, and Lithuania, down 2.4%. On an annual basis, eurozone industrial production in July held steady relative to the same month in 2025, while EU output increased 0.3%. The largest year-on-year advances were recorded in the Netherlands at 8.
