(RTTNews) - The Thai stock market has moved lower in consecutive trading days, surrendering almost 30 points or 2.2 percent along the way. The Stock Exchange of Thailand now sits just above the 1,360-point plateau although it nay see bargain hunting on Friday. The global forecast for the Asian markets is murky as the U.S. markets were shuttered on Thursday - while the European markets were roughly flat with an upside bias, and the Asian bourses are expected to follow that lead. The SET finished sharply lower on Thursday following losses from the food, consumer, finance, industrial, property, resource, service and technology sectors. For the day, the index tumbled 24.75 points or 1.78 percent to finish at 1,362.97 after trading between 1,360.
