Ukraine, Sweden extend cooperation in nuclear safety

The State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate said this in a statement seen by Ukrinform. "On September 17, 2026, on the sidelines of the 70th session of the IAEA General Conference in Vienna, the heads of Ukraine's and Sweden's nuclear regulatory authorities extended for five years the agreement between the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine and the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority (SSM) on cooperation in nuclear and radiation safety, signed on November 22, 2016," the statement said.
