Santiago / Getty Images Technology stocks powered major indexes to sharp gains Thursday a day after the Federal Reserve raised interest rates for the first time in three years. The tech-focused Nasdaq Composite, benchmark S&P 500, and blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average finished up 1.7%, 1.1%, and 0.6%, respectively. Information Technology was the top-performing sector in the S&P 500, rising more than 2%.
