(RTTNews) - The Indonesia stock market headed south again on Friday, one day after halting the six-day losing streak in which it had tumbled more than 250 points or 3.8 percent. The Jakarta Composite Index now sits just above the 6,440-point plateau and it figures to see little movement again on Monday. The global forecast for the Asian markets is mixed to lower on concerns over crude oil prices and the outlook for interest rates. The European markets were down and the U.S. bourses were mixed and the Asian markets figure to split the difference. The JCI finished modestly lower on Friday as losses from the finance, retail and infrastructure sectors were offset by support from the resource companies.
