Ukrainian forces strike Russian Kasta radar, UAV control post in Donetsk region

As reported by Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook . On September 20 and overnight into September 21, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck several important Russian military targets. In the area of Pikuzy in the Donetsk region, a Kasta radar station was hit. The Kasta is a mobile radar system designed to detect aircraft, missiles, and UAVs flying at low altitudes. It has a range of up to 150 kilometers and is estimated to cost at least $60 million. A Russian UAV control post was hit near Dniproenerhiia in the Donetsk region. In the area of Staryi Khutor in Russia’s Belgorod region, a cluster of Russian military personnel was struck.
