Germany's two-year Schatz yield edged down to 3.232%, while the benchmark 10-year Bund yield declined to 3.479%, retreating from the multi-month highs reached earlier in September. Longer-dated German government bonds also advanced, with the 30-year yield falling for a fourth consecutive session to 3.817%, its lowest level in nearly two weeks. Bond yields move inversely to prices, meaning the declines reflected rising prices for German government debt.
