G20 Energy Abundance Ministerial Concludes with Four Consensus Outcomes

On Wednesday, September 16 th , 2026, G20 Energy Ministers concluded the Energy Abundance Ministerial in Houston, Texas. The Ministerial was hosted by the White House National Energy Dominance Council (NEDC), the Department of the Interior, the Department of Energy, and the Environmental Protection Agency. At the conclusion of the Ministerial, G20 Ministers reached consensus on four outcomes advancing energy access, infrastructure development, water resilience, and supply chain security. The outcomes advance the Energy Abundance Working Group’s three pillars: Energy Security and Affordable Baseload, Permitting and Regulatory Efficiency, and Critical Minerals and Resilient Supply Chains.
