FM Sybiha: Removing Usmanov and Friedman from sanctions lists would send wrong signal to Moscow

Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made this statement on the social media platform X , according to Ukrinform. The head of the Foreign Ministry noted that Usmanov and Friedman were listed because they are part of Russia's aggressive regime waging a war of aggression against Ukraine. “What has changed? Nothing. Delisting is unacceptable and would send the wrong signal to Moscow at a time when pressure needs to increase,” Sybiha wrote. He added that it is necessary to expand the individual sanctions lists and extend their duration from six to twelve months, “to minimize counterproductive ideas aimed at appeasing Russian oligarchs.
