Drones attack Kuibyshev Oil Refinery in Samara – media

Local residents said explosions were heard during the attack and a large fire broke out at the facility. The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) imposed flight restrictions in Samara and other cities in the region overnight. Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said that “dozens of drones” had been shot down in the region overnight. “The enemy targeted industrial enterprises,” Fedorishchev wrote. At the same time, he did not report a fire at the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery or any casualties. The Kuibyshev Oil Refinery is one of the region’s largest oil industry enterprises and is part of PJSC Rosneft. The refinery has been targeted in attacks several times.
