Indian refiners seek alternatives to Russian oil amid US sanctions Law — Bloomberg

India, the world’s third-largest oil importer, has purchased more than half of its imports from Russia in recent months to offset high prices and supply disruptions from the Middle East. However, major refiners have begun seeking alternatives to Russian crude in recent days. According to the sources, New Delhi could reduce the share of Russian oil to 20–30% of its imports in the near term, allowing it to no longer be the largest seaborne buyer of Russian crude.
