Almost half of employers are upskilling their workers in the wake of labour market and legislative challenges - Onrec

Employers are future-proofing by investing in worker training as the labour market stagnates and organisations prepare for the Employment Rights Act The CIPD’s latest ‘Resourcing and talent planning report’, supported by Omni RMS, has found that some organisations are rethinking how to attract, retain, and develop skilled talent in response to the changing world of work. The findings of the report, which surveyed just over 1000 UK employers with HR decision-making responsibilities, found that upskilling existing employees has come to the forefront in light of a cooling labour market, skills shortages, and the impact of new workers’ rights legislations.
