Cracks are forming in AI data center boom as projects face increased opposition

Video Transcript 00:00 Speaker A 45 US data center projects worth $68 billion combined were blocked or delayed from April through June. There is a reported 843 opposition groups against AI across 49 states. That is a pretty big wave of antagonism for that industry to face. and you've seen some companies that looked like they were going to be coming public. We we thought we were going to see a lot more energy, uh power, hydropower companies coming to market. Those IPOs have been delayed. and so yes, the broader story is still intact.
