Greenland-linked rare earth stocks Critical Metals and Greenland Mines surged on Monday morning, following President Donald Trump's Friday announcement of a security agreement with Denmark. Analysts have speculated that the U.S. government could invest in Greenland's mining sector, a possibility that may be more likely following a deal that gives the U.S. a veto over "sensitive" investments in the territory by other countries.
