Redwire Corporation RDW is expanding its space infrastructure capabilities through autonomous spacecraft docking technology. The company has developed the International Berthing and Docking Mechanism ("IBDM"), a fully computer-controlled system designed to support autonomous rendezvous and docking between spacecraft. The technology adds a specialized capability to Redwire's space infrastructure portfolio. The IBDM is designed for use on both large-mass and lightweight spacecraft, giving the system flexibility across different mission requirements. Its alignment with the international docking system standard also allows it to support multiple types of spacecraft and mission architectures.
