(WVE), a clinical-stage biotechnology company based in RNA medicines, announced the appointment of Monika Vnuk as the Chief Business Officer, and will join Waves executive team and lead business development, corporate development, and alliance management. Before joining Wave, Vnuk was Senior Vice President and Global Head of Partnering and Business Development at Sanofi, where she led licensing, investments, and alliances. She previously worked at Blackstone Life Sciences and spent more than 10 years at Pfizer in senior business development roles, including leading the partnership with BioNTech for the global development and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
