No, on the contrary, we are talking about what we can do about this situation. We are talking about an energy ceasefire, at least if we cannot force Putin to end the war right now,” Zelensky said. Zelensky said he had told the White House chief that, in his view, Putin would tell everyone that the war was ending, but as soon as the so-called elections in Russia were over, attacks would resume. The United States currently has leverage to pressure Russia and force it at least to agree to an energy ceasefire.
