Cargo ship attacked in Black Sea, captain killed

"Overnight on September 23, the Russians struck a cargo ship flying the flag of Antigua and Barbuda in the Black Sea. The attack caused a fire," the statement said. According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, the ship's captain, a Ukrainian national, was killed. The crew was evacuated by the Ukrainian Navy, and the fire was extinguished. Earlier, a Tanzanian-flagged vessel was attacked while en route to a Ukrainian port. The captain was killed and three crew members were injured.
